Pho Cali
In various parts of America including New York State and California, there are Vietnamese restaurants with names like Pho Duong Dong and Pho Phu Quoc. Whether they are truly representing the taste of Phu Quoc island or just exploiting the name, it remains to be seen. In the same vein, you have to wonder about this place on Tran Hung Dao St: is it serving Californian style pho (beef noodle soup), or is it just nameplay? Just like the Malibu beach resort at Mui Ne?
