Lien Hiep Thanh Hotel Restaurant
Some travelers have reported that Lien Hiep Thanh Resort’s restaurant is only open in the high season. When trade is busy, blazing seafood barbeques are held at night. As is the case with any restautant, not everyone who dines here is a happy customer. The Vietnamese Food God, who spent two weeks on Phu Quoc in February 2010, said he was disappointed with the grilled squid and sour broth with tuna he was served at the restaurant, especially since squid and tuna are Phu Quoc specialties. The Vietnam God also warned that restaurants in the night market were more expensive than the restaurants in town and at his hotel. If Lien Hiep Thanh’s restaurant is closed you can try the restaurant at the nearby Nhat Than Resort, which is usually more swinging. The barbequed fish and shrimp there have been recommended.
